A Good Invitation and Offer from Mr. Franklin Salveson from USA-- Sep 25, 2013
Mr. Franklin Salveson and his wife were two English teachers in Hong Kong. We were good friends and we made some phones between Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

Years ago, both of them came back to the US because Mrs. Salveson was sick. We have been keeping the connection by emails.

Days ago, I got a very kind invitation and a nice offer. Mr. Frankin Salveson has invited me to visit Utah and they would offer living place for me, meanwhile, he would like to offer some emergency English translation help for me.

Many people wonder why I have been keeping working on my cross-culture and comprehensive art dream that is a project that is supported by myself and there is no any coins return for myself for so many years, no matter I was sick or suddenly changed to be ¡° Poor person¡± who had retired from the Chinese Securities Industry, whether I was a foolish woman whose mind is sick. I think, maybe this letter from Mr. Franklin Salveson has partly answered this question.

After all, in this world, the value of a person or a project's cannot be weighed up by money. Do you think so?

As a lucky person, with a grateful heart, I would like to share the letter with you.

I do hope that Mrs. Salveson will getting better soon and I do hope both of them happy and lucky.

Hi Shirley,

I know you are very busy while you are here in the U.S., so I so won¡¯t take much of your time.   But, I just wanted to touch base with you to let you know that I read your weekly posts and enjoy them very much.

Anyway, I¡¯m living in Utah now, caring for my wife who is very ill.   For that reason, I cannot travel at the present time.   Nevertheless, should you ever wish to see another part of the U.S., I would invite you to visit and stay with us before you return to your country.   We have an extra bedroom, and you would be welcome. I know you are super busy, but the invitation stands.

Also, if you ever need emergency translation in English, please let me know.   I¡¯d be happy to help wherever and whenever I was able.

Shirley, take care of yourself, health is everything.

Best wishes,

Franklin Salveson
