I have not updated this column for a while, because I have been thinking of how to work on it and what is the best style to help you to remember Chinese words.   

Today, I would like to offer you some basic Chinese numerals that you have to use in the daily communication and hope they are a little bit help to you to learn Chinese language.

eighty:八十 -- bāshí
ninety:九十 -- jiǔshí
a hundred:一百 -- yībǎi
a thousand:一千-- yīqiān
ten thousand:一万 -- yīwàn
million:百万: -- bǎiwàn
ten million: 千万-- qiānwàn
a hundred million:亿 -- yì
billion: 十亿-- shíyì
