Hi, everyone, I was often asked how to read the number in Chinese. So, I would like to show you how to read it one by one. Today let us to learn how to read from 0 to 10.

PRONUNCIATION:

Please read the number following me:

0:ling2
1: yi1
2: er4 ; liang3
3: san1
4: si4
5: wu3
6: liu4
7: qi1
8: ba1
9: jiu3
10:shi2 ; yi1 shi2
+: jia1
=:deng3 yu2

CHINESE CHARACTERS:

零、一、二、 三、 四、五、六、七、八、九、十

EXCERCISE:
1 + 1 = 2: yi1 jia1 yi1 deng3 yu2 er4
2 + 2 = 4: er4 jia1 er4 deng3 yu2 si4
3 + 3 = 6:san1 jia1 san1 deng3 yu2 liu4
4 + 4 = 8: si4 jia1 si4 deng3 yu2 ba1
5 + 5 =10: wu3 jia1 wu3 deng3 yu2 shi2
6 + 4 =10:liu4 jia1 si4 deng3 yu2 shi2
7 + 3 =10: qi1 jia1 san2 deng3 yu2 shi2
8 + 2 =10: ba1 jia1 er4 deng3 yu2 shi2
