Hi,Dear Friends
This is a friendly greeting from Shirley, China via a mail group.
This week, I re-designed some columns and started something new on the web site. In Community For You, you can ask and answer questions via the Forum. You can take part in "Shirley's World" via the Register System. In English Lessons you can publish your English lessons there if you are a native English speaker and you can learn English there if you are a no-English speaker. You can check my Newsletteron the web site no matter where you are. A Shirley's Creative Music has been there, I will focus my music creating on the Chinese Classical Poems for helping you to learn Chinese with an easy and relaxed way.
I am very happy that many friends responding my newsletters and some friends have started a communication in the Forum that opened last week. I do appreciate your friendly opinions, comments and suggestion and some of them have been published on the web site and I hope that you feel good for your name on it. Chinese Xieyi-- 050(Flower & Bird): Hi
Xieyi -- Freehand Brushwork is the best chose for the people who have no much time to paint for it can be painted with brushes and colors directly instead of making a draft at the first. Also it is the best way as a composition of a picture practice. But, it needs a higher ability on the skills. This is my last Xieyi practice in my art lesson and hope to bring you a little relaxed feeling and a smile.:-)

Da Feng Ge-- The Song Of The Gale
Han Dynasty and Liu Pang is one of the greatest times and emperors in the Chinese history. I love the poem Da Feng Ge ? The Song Of The Gale by Liu Ban for it expresses his happy, proud and ambitious heart after he found a new dynasty and the sad emotion that lacked the warriors to protect the country with only 3 sentences. I created the music to match it after writing about 10 times and my vocal music teacher played piano for me when I sang it. She played a wrong key for I wrote my music with a pencil at the end and my tone was also strange in the last sentence. Can you feel it clear? Do you enjoy the way to learn Chinese classical poem? .

Chinese Art Song--003: The White Rose By The Heilong River
(Frome Opera: AO LEI ?YI LAN)
After learning a new song every weekend for a while, both my vocal music teacher and I did not think that my singing level was improved, so, we re-started my art song training in my music lesson. I chose The White Rose By The Heilong River that is from opera Ao Lei Yi Lan for it makes me think of my second hometown. I had been on the frontier between Russia and China as one of the young corps soldiers from Beijing when I was younger than 15 years old according to Chair Mao's calling, I left there after the culture revolution was finished. How is it like now? Have you been to the Heilong River?
