Hi,Dear Friends
 Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
How are you? How do you spend your Christmas holiday? Really I hope you are doing well and have a fantastic Christmas season.
On my side, we have no the tradition to celebrate Christmas, but still a few of Christians do it, me too. So, I have sent some Christmas gifts to those people who have helped me and also I myself checked my own study and work in the past year and make plan for my new year.
Anyway, last Thursday, Dec 17, 2020, a catastrophic event occurred to me: my computer collapsed so that I lost all my data in it, included my paper during an engineer restored the system, though he did a copy and showed it to me, but he lost it finally.
If it happened 10 years ago, I would be crazy or lose my temper. But now, after experiencing so much, instead of showing an angry face, I comforted the young engineer who was younger than my son: ※Don＊t worry about it but try to find it back＃§ then during his company was finding the data I bought a new computer and started to re-write my paper＃
To be honest, when the young engineer told me that data was lost, my feeling sounds like losing my son and my heart was so pain like being cut. Anyway, things have happened, although it is the biggest and most important thing before handing in it in March, and then going to my thesis oral defense in May, but, in whole of my life, it is just a little thing＃ so, when a manager told me that the data couldn＊t be found back, instead of calling their name or losing my temper, I wrote a long message, to thank them for their hard jobs and also asked them not punish the young engineer too much, but gave him an opportunity since he was so young and since he did work according the working process (I guess he confused the 4 areas in my computer and another 4 areas mobile hard disk drive)＃
This way, the young engineer didn＊t lose his job (he was stopped to work for 2 days already before I wrote to his manager); I myself avoided to be hurt by some bad emotions;both of two sides, the company and me become friends...
With a wider and more tolerant heart to treat others, maybe one of the biggest gains I have learned from Bible and my international travel in the past year?
Now, I have sent the Spring Festival gifts to my father and family members, cancelled my planned travels, put down all of my current jobs, and try to use as much as possible time on re-writing my paper＃
I am thinking, based on the jobs in the past 4 years, many ideas have been in my mind and melt into my blood, if I catch my time well, it will be possible to write a better and more refined paper within the upcoming about 60 days＃
