Hi,Dear Friends

How are you? Did you have a good week? I do hope everything is well with you and had an easy weekend.

This week, I tried to caught some time to read something before I start to do the final judgment for the last researching report this year. I have decided to re-write it, for I am not satisfied with it and I also got a lesson, that I should take more time to work on the project with my colleagues together. I was too busy, but that should not be the reason as a good leader of a project.

Now, I want to read as much as possible before I start to write. I wanted to study 2 or 3 companies that are listed in the global 500, to learn their successful management experience. I do wish that I had time enough; then I would go to their branches in Shenzhen or in Hong Kong to learn something in person, as I had done in the Branch of Bloomberg and Branch of Reuters in Hong Kong in June. Anyway with my limited time this week, I did read over 300 pages of Fortune and as much as possible data via Internet, newspapers and books. I will read all of the Fortune magazines in my hands ? they have been sending their magazine of the Chinese version to me free for years and I really think it's helpful...

I do feel that our company has some unique advantages as a top company in our information for our special shareholder's background, special legal duties and special multimedia running style. The problem is that every single media and single department is running better than if all of the departments and all of the medias have a combined work together. A more united power of the company has to be collected and improved...

So, except working in the paper, I am thinking and trying to do some innovation to improve our work. This week, I have started to organize some departments to adjust a most important business process and to do something from some small place via our daily manager meeting. Next Monday, a little and simplest system will be online to offer all of the staff ? whole of the company will share the information of one of our business ? magazine order for 2007 ? every employee can fill their order work (we encourage every employee to help our magazine office to do this with some award), to publish their opinions and suggestions, to share the customers information, every department's work schedule, every employee's work record and do some simple data analyses via the system. Just starting from the least thing, to make that our so many systems are separated and belong to different departments to be connected together and to prepare and to explore a way to set up a bigger system to support and manage the whole company's business running and decision-making. I am glad that my idea and work has got the support from the general manager and the department managers.

Since 2003, I have been studying and writing something about our company's core competitions ability. My basic thought is to help the company to find a way to make our company not only to be the No.1 in the industry, but also the Only One: become a unique company via our unique theory, products, team, business model that is based on the unique multimedia system…

No.1 is good; Only One/ Unique is the best. Do you think so?

I am just a learner on art, music, English and the work on the web site in my free time. Anyway, I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be An Electronic Bridge Of Culture Exchange, Friendship, and Language Learning. During the process to help the others and to improve myself.

I do appreciate your understanding, directions and supports. I do hope to get your great help continuously now and in the coming time...
