Remarks:
I was so touched by the extremely responsible jobs of Professor Man Weiqi - the Deputy Dean of Chinese Painting School at Chinese National Academy of Arts Checked Our Assignments, Since I came to the school in 2011, he had not only given us lessons in person, but also, he had led students to have the lessons of painting from the nature 11 times. Every time, he went the mountains earlier than students and to paint for the sponsors in person to Make Money for us.
Just because of his effort, every times, students just needed to hand in 1 or 2 pictures, we needed not pay any money for our travels, eating and living.
Every time, after we come back from the mountains, he gave us an assignments to create at least 6 pictures according to the painting from the nature in the mountains...
This time, he just came back from Japan and before he fly to Australia and New Zealand on the next day, he came to check our assignments and gave every one a direction face to face.
Also, he praised me for my had work and progress in his class.
Do you know? Following the good direction of Professor Man Weiqi: The best method to improve your painting level is to take part in the Chinese Painting Party (To paint on a public occasion, with the other artists together), Since Nov 15, 2014, I have organized a Daily Chinese Painting Party in my classroom.
Every night, at 8:45p.m. - 9:45p.m. a group of students (Anyone who wanted to come, he/she could come ) come to my classroom to create a picture at the same time.
Here are the rules of us:
1) Every one must paint a picture on a piece of paper that is not less than 68cm x 68cm within 1 hour; if anyone does not finish it at the end time, must stop. If any one completes it, starts another one.
2) Do not allow draft with pencil, but paint with brush on the paper directly.
3) Do not allow to see any data, but paint on the white paper;
4) Every one must comment the others' pictures, to point out of the good or bad places.
The purpose is: To improve our ability of creating quickly, to fit in with the needs of the future work.
The Target is: To reach the level to be able to create a good picture as soon as we take up a brush at any place and at time within the shortest time.
To be honest, after the hard work from about 13 years, now, I just really have entered my Chinese Painting Creating phase.
With a grateful heart to my professors and the schools, since Nov 15, I have created 7 pictures.
