Nov 17, 2014, Professor Miao Chongan of Xian Academy of Fine Arts gave us a lecture on Chinese Traditional Blue and Green Landscape.
As a 78 years old atist, Professor Miao haa contributed so much for Chinese art career and he has created many important landscapes for the most important places of China, such as Tiananmen rostrum.
He did not only give us so much knowledge and so many skills base on his long-term researching and painting experiences, but also, he has set up a good example for us. I was touched by his professional dedication deeply -- In his student times, when his professor asked him to paint an ancient Chinese painting 15 times, he painted 30 times.
Just for his strong basic skill is the foundation that he can be successful.
