That afternoon, a short message on my mobile phone reminded me to think of that day is a China's traditional festival to memory a great patriotism poet Qu Yuan (B.C. 340 -- B.C.278). He was a high official in Chu. He loved his country and he did many things to make his country stronger. But, the King did not trust him and did not follow his right opinions so that his country to be destroyed by the other country Qin. At the day Qin¨ Army entered the capital, he jumped into the Miluo River with a stone and sad heart. It is said the people of his country scared the fish to eat his body, so, they made many Zongzi ? dumpling made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves and dropped them into the river to feed fishes´ so from then, China has a traditional festival to eat Zongzi and to remember QU Yuan. Also people started to make a dragon boat game´
As a poet, Qu Yuan created a great new poem style ? Chuci and it has been affecting Chinese poem creating until now.
In Chinese painting, pan is something that often be used to memory some great people. So, I painted it on my picture and hope you enjoy it.
