Remarks: This is my 47th Chinese Xie Yi Painting. After painting Chinese Gongbi for several weeks and every weekend worked on it for about 20 hours, I do feel very tired. So, instead of working on Gong bi in the art lesson tonight, I asked my teacher direct me on Chinese Xieyi painting ? Chinese Freehand Brushworks. This kind of paintings ask the painter to paint a picture with brushers directly, instead of making a draft with a pencil at the first. So, it asked me to paint it very carefully and could not paint one piece wrong. In fact, when I told you that it is my 47th Xiyi, that meant that I have painted 47 kinds of Xieyi. I need paint every picture for many times, sometimes for over 10 times. Tonight, I painted twice in my lesson. First time, my teacher thought the leaves too dark somewhere, so, I painted the second piece. Then, my teacher thought that I had not made the leaves of the flowers ok, they looked like in a too same situation and also I should make them to be in few groups, so that they looked like too similar and too average, lacked changing. I do agree with the comments and I will paint more times on the weekend. Also my teacher asked me to paint on Chinese Xieyi every day one piece for improving my ability on composition of a picture, color deal with and imagination as a daily practice. This is not really easy for me, but I enjoy the work. Do you like Chinese Xieyi or Chinese Gongbi painting or Gouache or the other kind of painting art? |
