Title: Shirley's Chinese Painting 1546-1547 Chinese Painting, Xieyi 916 - 917 and the 664th - 665th colored Flower & Bird Painting-July 31, 2022
Artist: Shirley Yiping Zhang
Size: 194cm x 180cm ( 76.37inches x 70.86 inches)
Completed Time: July 31, 2022
Remarks:
This is my 1546 - 1547 Chinese Paintings and the 916th - 917thChinese Xieyi Painting

This is the second half of a big painting, whish is formed of 4 single paintings.

I created its structure in July, 2015 in Beijing. However, after just drafting the 23 birds on it, I had to leave for the US, then, because it is a big painting (each single painting is 97cm x 180cm and total 388cm and 180cm which is 152.75 inches x 70.86inches ) and I couldn't find a big place and enough time for I had to study Chinese Mountain and Water Paintings (Landscape) and its theory for getting a Master Degree of Fine Arts 2016 -2021. Therefore, the draft had been in my luggage for 7 years and traveled between the US and China several times, so that some places of the paper was worn and there was some water traces on it because of a typhoon ... it had become a long-term anxiety of mine.

Anyway, I had no a habit to give a work on a half way, so, even though it had been delayed, still I found some time to complete it in the hot summer.

Although I couldn't attached all of the 4 pieces of the painting on my painting wall which is 3.5meter x 2meter (the painting is 3.88 meters x 1.8meters) at the same time so that the background color wasn't very harmonious and some places are not ideal, I was very glad and felt much easy for I finally completed it.

Below is the first part of the painting and really I hope my effort will bring you a big smile.
