Title: Shirley Created Art -- Gouache--0107: A Little Road
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 35.5cm x 25.5cm
Completed Time: Fri, Dec 22, 2007
Remarks:
This is my 107th Gouache Paintingthat I have completed in my my art lesson Friday night.

This is the 4th week since my teacher started to teach me to paint a Gouache painting. I have painted 6 paintings and a color sketch of my little parrots. :-)

My teacher suggested to cancel the lesson after knowing I was suffering a stomachache. My answer was "No" because it is really not easy to get a direction by a professional artist and an art professor. After all, my teacher is teaching in the teaching sites of Xian Art College and Guangzhou Art College in Shenzhen while to direct many middle/high shool students to go through their enrollment examination to enter the art colleges. As a professional artist, my teacher's painting has been collected by people. Some of them has been sold over 10,000 USD. So, it is not easy to invite a so busy teacher to offer a lesson.

My teacher satisfied with my work on this painting and I have got 93 marks -- this is my second marks that is over 90 in the past several years. The other is one of I created combined paintings. :- )

Can you imagine? I would be invited to manage a Chinese Painting Training Class while to learn to paint if I really retired earlier 5 years than the regular time in 2008. :-) I have not made a desicion, but, it is a good admiting to my hard learning in the past 4 years and 7 months. Right? :-)

How do you think of this picture? Do you like it?

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please write to shirley@ebridge.cn, You are welcome to publish your opinions in Forum . :-)
