Title: Shirley Created Art 459 & Chinese Bai Miao--035: Waiting For --Nov 27-28, 2009
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 24cm x 36cm ( 9.44.inches x 14.17 inches) on Silk
Completed Time: Nov 27-28, 2009
Remarks:
This is my 459th Painting since 2003 and the 35th Chinese Bai Mao.

Nov 26, my younger sister flew to Wuxi to look after my mother. The pity was that my mother could not eat anything since Nov 24. So, except looking after her transfusion in time, we could not do any thing more for her again...

So, after worked on looking after her in person for 15 days in the hospital and in the family sickroom, picked up the doctor to come to our family sickroom to make the transfusion for my mother Nov 27, I went to the Wuxi Airport and flew back Shenzhen.

I started this picture on the airplane, then I made the draft on my sketchbook as a Chinese Maibiao on a piece of thin silk next day on Nov 28.

I created this painting for my parents since this kind of birds -- Yuanyang is the symbol of love.

Before I colored it, I would like to put it on the web site and let you enjoy the "Line Art" of Chinese Gongbi.

Anyway, in my art lesson, my teacher thought that my structure is good, but the line is not good enough, so, I re-painted it after my art lesson tonight and I woul like to put the two baimiao here.

How do you think of the two Baimiao? Wich one is better?
