Title: Shirley Created Art 538 & Chinese Xieyi -298:Look Forward to Spring- Oct 31, 2010
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 103.00cm x 58.00cm (40.55inches x 22.83inches)
Completed Time: Oct 31, 2010
Remarks:
This is my 298th Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 538 painting since 2003. Also, it is the 67th ( 92nd ) painting (practice) that I have created in 2010.

When I took up my brushers and prepared to create this new painting Saturday morning Oct 30, 2010, I just realized that I had not painted any painting for 21 days since I created my last painting on Oct 9 and lived into the hospital on Oct 13.

I felt sorry for I had stopped for so long time indeed. :-)

I felt happy for I could really re-start a new creative work finally. :-)

With a good heart but a little bit rusty hands, I created this new painting of peacock and I named it Look Forward to Spring. :-)

Do you know why? The weather on my side suddenly changes so cold -- from the temperature 27 - 28 C degree changes to be the temperature 14 C degree to 15 C degree. It seems like we could wear in dress last night, but we have to be in long suit this morning. :-)

I feel extremely cold indeed so that I had a cold. Anyway, I kept completing this painting with about 1 box of tissue. :-) The interesting thing is that when I finished my painting, my cold seems like go. :-)

I do not satisfy the painting yet, I will re-paint it later.

How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
