Title: Shirley's Art Works 610 & Chinese Bai Miao 42: Shirley Painted It in CAFA- June 16 - July 3, 2011
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 80cm x 154cm (31.49inches x 60.63inches) Chinese Ink on Silk
Completed Time: July 3, 2011
Remarks:
This is my 610th Painting since 2003 and my 42nd Chinese Bai Mao, also, it is the 95th and last assignment in China Central Academy of Fine Art.

I worked on it for 15 days and every day I worked over 15 hours.

It was an ancient painting with color in Ming Dynasty, according to the professor Yao Renxi's good direction, I tried to paint it and changed it as a Chinese Baimiao with only ink.

Since line is the bone of Chinese painting, I would really to learn it better via more practice.

The good news is that the president of the Chinese Painting School, professor Tang Yongli gave it a good comment and he encouraged me to work on it continuously, then to create something new belongs to myself. :-)

How do you think of this painting, do you enjoy it?
