I painted it to match a Chinese classical poem Yong E -- Sing the Geese by Luo Binwang who was lived in the early Tang Dynasty (618 - 907), as the graphical interpretation of the peom, to show you its meaning. For the same purpose, I had translated it into English in April, 2005; then, I created a piece of music and sang it in Chinese first time in Oct, 2005. This weekend, I have corrected my translation, re-written the music and re-sang it for you. I do hope that my effort will be some help with you to learn Chinese culture and language. MAIN MEANING OF THE PEOM : Sing the Geese By Luo Binwang (Tang) Geese, geese, geese, Bend their necks to sing to the sky, White feathers float on the green water, Red webbed feet paddle the clear waves.
