Title: Shirley's Daily Chinese Painting Practices-81 Art Works 1028-Bamboo & Chrysanthemums -Xieyi-556-- Shirley's 394th Assignment at Chinese National Academy of Arts-July 1, 2015
Artist: Shirley Yiping Zhang
Size: 70cm x 45cm (27.55inches x 17.71inches)
Completed Time: July 1, 2015
Remarks:
This is my 556thChinese Xieyi Painting and my 1028th painting since 2003, the 394th assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts.

Every Chinese student who majors in Chinese Flower and Bird Painting must start his or her study from plum blossom, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum. I did. But I had not paid more attention to them until the second semester of this class-year. So, I am doing my best to catch this lesson.

In June, I painted 80 paintings of bamboo and orchid except daily practice. This month, I re-started to practise to paint chrysanthemum. Meanwhile, still I kept painting Bamboo and orchid as well.

I have painted at least three kinds of chrysanthemums. This is one of my chrysanthemum paintings and I have painted it more than 10 times.

Because I painted it directly with a brush, so, you can see they are some little bit differente.

How do you think of the 4 paintings? Which one do you think better?
